Stayed April 2015, travelled with family

My 8 year old daughter and I stayed at the Carousel last Thursday and we had a really enjoyable time in Blackpool. We arrived just after lunch and managed to park straight outside, for free which was very convenient. On entering reception, it was clear the Carousel was a clean well organised hotel with plenty of staff on hand.

Our room was ready and the reception lady was very polite and helpful. Although our room was on the 3rd floor, it was easy excisable via the lift, and we had no problems at all. I think there's around 100 rooms, so we noticed a few corridors, but they were all clean and tidy, with adequate signage for the room numbers.

Our room was a very good size twin, with ample of storage, a dressing table, walk-in wardrobe with in own safe for valuables to be kept in, a tv, kettle, blinds and blackout curtains.... The windows actually opened to! A big on suite bathroom with an amazing hot power shower, we did love this room lol. The room was very tidy, clean and we both had a full nights sleep.

Across the road we caught the tram to Blackpool tower, were we watched an amazing 2 hour circus and afterwards, we went up to the top of the tower, for the views. Im not 100% sure we'd rush back to the top, but as we have merlin annual passes, its free. We was up for no more than 10 minutes.

The sea front promenade has been massively improved since visiting Blackpool as a child, with clean open space all along the sea font. We had a couple of really nice walks, the bonus being great sunny weather.  In the evening, there was a kids club, followed by a quiz and bingo. Background music was played and again I noticed plenty of staff on hand. A nice evening.

Breakfast....this was amazing.... Well the sausages melted my heart lol gorgeous. A buffet style breakfast, serve yourself in the dining room, which again was well staffed and clean.

We will visit again, enjoyed our stay and felt welcome. My daughter loved it and the staff interacted with her quite a lot, which I appreciated. Worth a stay, quite ish location but easy to walk or get the tram to the hot spots.
